Botox Brow Lift

• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand to reduce bruising
• Pause non-essential blood thinners such as fish oil and vitamin E for a few days where safe
• Arrive with clean skin, free of heavy make-up around the brows and forehead
• Plan the treatment at least two weeks ahead of any major event
• Mention previous brow or eyelid treatments so they can be taken into account

Your practitioner will ask you to raise and relax your brows so the muscles can be mapped precisely. After cleansing the skin, a few small injections are placed around the tail of the brow and, where appropriate, between the brows. Each injection feels like a brief pinch and the whole appointment usually takes ten to fifteen minutes. There is no need for anaesthetic and you can leave and continue your day immediately, following the standard aftercare.

• Stay upright for four hours after treatment
• Avoid rubbing or massaging the brow area for 24 hours
• Skip strenuous exercise, saunas and heat for 24 hours
• Avoid facial treatments and lying face-down for the rest of the day
